There are those I may not like, be it Art Modell or whomever. However, I do wish everyone around the world all the best this Holiday Season.

But, if I were Santa, the following would get a lump of coal:

    Larry Dolan

    Mark Shapiro

    Charlie Manuel

    Red Sox fan

White Sox fan (some are ok, but few and far between)

Jose Mesa (for costing us a Worlds Championship, It would be a lifetime supply)

Beat writers and sportscaters that tell you what you want to hear for fear of being shut out by the Indians brass

Here's a tip; After seeing the new and less talented Indians, most of you that commend Shapiro will be wishing the XFL hadnt been shut down. The excitement at "The Wake" will be more a yawn than cheering.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!

How about a lump of coal for Tony Fernandez??? He is just as much to blame as Mesa for costing the Tribe the World Series! Also don't forget Hargrove, the dumbest manager on the face of the earth. What a wonderful job he is doing with the Orioles.

Come now Swanny, do you honestly think that Joe Torre, Tony LaRussa or even Charlie for that matter, could do better with the talent (or lack thereof) in Baltimore?? Any manager or coach is only as good as the horses he's riding and B-More has more donkeys than horses. Kind of like what Shapiro is handing Charlie this off season.

We have not acquired, signed or traded for all that we lost following the season. There is no way that Matt Lawton can match the numbers Juan Gon posted last season and Gutierrez isnt worthy enough to be mentioned in the same breath as Robbie Alomar. Add to that the loss of Marty Cordova and Kenny Lofton (but we did sign Brady to cover for Kenny, oh ya, that will make up for our losses) and you have a lot of runs, hits, homeruns and RBI's to replace. Who is on our current lineup to prevent Thome from being pitched around?? Perhaps Burks, but can he stay healthy next season??

Too many questions and all any of us can do is wait till spring training to find out how it all shakes out. I'm hoping for the best but I'm very skeptical (at this point) as to how well we'll do.

Lawton can't get the same numbers JuanGon got? And Guiterrez can't get the same numbers Alomar got? All together now....

Do you think Charlie had Robbie offed?

I wonder if the infamous Seattle game when we came back from a 14-2 deficit to win 15-14 was a turning point.

Remember the shot of Robbie "instructing" Kenny to lower his wrists when he swung, then Kenny went out and had two or three hits after that.

That was shown on National Televison, Charlie must have really felt shown up, heck, he used to be a hitting instructor before coach...a double whammy!
